LAPALALA HOLIDAY HOME

Damascus was required to create a beautiful escape, through the design of the interior, of a snug family holiday home in the Limpopo Lapalala wilderness.

Our challenge was to converge the contemporary architectural skeleton - designed by Local Studio - with the client’s unique taste, a mixture of antique furniture pieces, redressed in minimal modern fabrics to celebrate the form of these pieces.

We were inspired by the natural surrounding environment, bringing the essence of this into the interior through the use of natural and organic forms and textural finishes. We aimed to maximize on the space, creating intimate living spaces.
