Concept description
7 Gates is a product collection of lights. Each light represents 1 of the 7 Gates of Damascus in Syria : Paradise, Peace, Thomas, Eastern Gate, The Gate of Saturn, Small Gate and The Gate of Water. The construction methodology of the light shade incorporates a laser-cut skeleton wrapped in 300gsm treated fabriano paper. The light shade is designed to exhibit a piece of art via drawing, watercolour, graphic design or print media.

For 100% Design 2019, DAMASCUS intends to exhibit the 7 lights arranged as an installation in a 9m² stand.
